The Cull Trial 2026

Date: Nov 7-8, 2026

TRIAL LOCATION: 15120 Hopper Road, Peyton Colorado 80831. 

SHEEP: Range wool sheep  SHEEP REPLACEMENT VALUE $300

SCHEDULE: 2 open, 2 nursery, 2 open ranch. 

ENTRIES OPEN: September 4, 2026   CLOSE:  October 24, 2026

JUDGES: TBD.   

We will be trialling on a mixed age group of culls from JD Schmidt.  If you are interested in purchasing any ewes from JD, this is a great opportunity.  Please contact me privately for details. 

We will be taking entries electronically this year. All payments must be done via mailed check. Checks must be received by October 23rd to confirm entry.  Please make checks payable to Terry Murray and mail to: Terry Murray, 15120 Hopper Road, Peyton, CO 80831.

• Checks cashed & NO REFUNDS after October 24th. 

• Entries will be accepted until classes are full.  Waitlist will be kept.

• If there is a scratch during the trial, we will draw in from dogs that are here.

Handlers are limited to two dogs in each class; however, you can enter third dogs in each class, and we will hold a draw if we have opening.  Please send a separate check for each third dog.

No cross entry of dogs between Open Ranch and Nursery.
